I’ve had my little one undergoing myofunctional therapy for his jaw in an attempt to avoid tonsillectomy. Dr Archi has been working alongside our myofunctional therapist to support lymphatic drainage, cranial therapy and postural alignment. We’ve had incredible results and can comfortably recommend Prime Osteo Taringa for both children and adult treatments. Thank you so much Dr Archi, you have been key in the success of our health journey this year.Posted on Google MaryanneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Archana has treated me fortnightly for 3 months and I am feeling great. Firstly she helped with my shoulder and neck pain, and then reduced the tension across my nervous system. After years of poor sleep, I am sleeping well and I’m learning new stretches that help my body stay pain free. Highly recommend the lovely human that is Dr Archana for pain reduction and health advice.Posted on Google Tanya HarnettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Archana is an exceptional practitioner. Her understanding of the human body, and the way she explains how it works, is both remarkable and deeply reassuring. I’ve been dealing with intense pain from a Frozen shoulder for the past 10 months, and her approach and treatment have been the only things to provide any real relief and restore a sense of hope for my recovery. I truly can’t recommend her highly enough.Posted on Google Keelin AspelingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very caring and genuine people. It never feels rushed or transactional — you can tell they truly want to help people improve their health, not just get you in and out.

What To Expect From Your Osteopathic Appointment?
You are not just another appointment for us. We take the time and effort to understand the root cause of your pain. We listen, understand, examine, and then tailor a treatment plan. Our focus at Prime Health Hub is to eliminate the root cause of your pain, and not just manage the symptoms. Our Osteopaths in Brisbane will analyse past medical reports to get a comprehensive understanding of your conditions.
Comprehensive physical examination, part of the initial assessment, includes observing posture, mobility, and musculoskeletal alignment. We rely on the best tools, such as Nervoscope, Scoliometer, and techniques, like Digital Postural Assessment, for accurate assessment. Our experienced Osteopaths in Brisbane might perform various stretches to assess your range of motion.
Osteopathic manipulative techniques (OMT) involve hands-on examination and treatment. Joint mobilisation, myofascial release, and osteopathic palpation, all hands-on techniques, are crucial elements of osteopathy. Our experienced Brisbane Osteopaths can identify underlying conditions through pain-free hands-on assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do osteopaths work?
Osteopaths assess, analyze, diagnose, treat, and implement rehabilitation and prevention strategies to manage musculoskeletal disorders. They work according to the biopsychosocial model and not only look at the symptomatic area but also consider psychological and social factors contributing to the disorders. It is a drug-free, non-invasive form of manual medicine that considers the body as a unit. Osteopathy may also help with sleep cycles, and nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic symptoms.
How to book an appointment for osteopathy near me?
There are two ways to book an appointment online (website/google business profile) or by calling us. If it is your first appointment and you are a new patient, you may be required to fill in a patient intake/ health history form and consent form. We will send you the form online when you make the appointment. We recommend completing it at home because it may take some time. The patient intake forms are also available at the clinic, and it is advised to reach the clinic 10-15 minutes earlier to complete the paperwork.
What to wear during a treatment?
You are suggested to wear suitable loose clothing, loose enough to conduct osteopathic manipulative treatment, or we will provide you with the treatment gown. Tight clothes like Jeans are not recommended while visiting an osteopathy clinic. We follow strict cleanliness protocols and government guidelines at the clinic to prevent any contagious infections from spreading.
How many treatments will I need?
Everyone is different, even though they come to the clinic with the same problem, and every individual responds to the treatment differently. Our Osteopath will thoroughly assess and discuss the treatment plan with you during the appointment. They also do an assessment at every appointment and let you know about the changes.
Do I get the reminder regarding appointment?
We will send you the email and text message 24 hours before the appointment.
How do I reschedule my appointment?
We understand that sometime the life interrupts, and you require to postpone your appointment. In that case please have to inform us at least 24 hours prior to reschedule appoint. According to availability, we can fix the next appointment, or if possible we can work it out and adjust the appointment.
Please note if you miss the appointment without notice all fees apply.

Do I need a GP's Referral?
No, Osteopaths are primary health practitioners, and you do not need GP’s referral to see us. But you may if you are claiming consultation fees with a third-party provider (DVA) Department of Veteran affairs, Medicare (EPC/CDM), Work cover, or Motor vehicle insurance.
Is osteopathy mainstream or alternative medicine?
Like all doctors and health professionals, osteopaths are registered under AHPRA (Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency). Osteopathy comes under the allied health framework of enhanced Primary Care. General practitioners usually refer chronic and complex aches and pain-related problems to an osteopath.
