Alina is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in fertility, pregnancy and women’s hormonal health across the lifespan – from puberty to menopause. With a background in inflammation research and additional training in health coaching, Alina brings together cutting edge nutrition science and a sensitive, personalised approach to help you achieve your health and fertility goals through optimal nutrition that works for you.

Special Interests:

Women’s Health: medical nutrition therapy for women’s reproductive health conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic pain, irregular menstrual cycles, fertility challenges and the hormonal changes of perimenopause. Alina’s goal is to support women of all ages and walks of life in creating optimal health and wellbeing through healthy nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, self-care and self-compassion.

Fertility for Him and for Her: optimal nutrition for egg and sperm health, conception and implantation. Prevention and management of pregnancy complications (gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, hyperemesis gravidarum, miscarriage), optimising IVF outcomes. Alina’s goal as a Fertility Dietitian is to empower every parent to give their baby the best start in life by optimising their nutrition during the critical period prior to conception and during pregnancy. 

Digestive and Gut Health: food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities (coeliac disease and non-coeliac gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, histamine sensitivity, salicylate sensitivity, glutamate sensitivity), constipation, diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and FODMAP. Optimising gut microbiome through food.

Inflammatory and autoimmune conditions: anti-inflammatory eating for Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Grave’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis, endometriosis, inflammatory bowel disease. Alina combines the anti-inflammatory Mediterranean Diet with targeted, disease-specific recommendations to help manage your symptoms, reduce inflammation and pain, and improve your quality of life.

Holistic Approach to Preventive Health: Alina believes that prevention is the best treatment and supports individuals in making sustainable, long-term changes in their diet, physical activity, sleep, stress management and other lifestyle behaviours that address the underlying causes of disease and improve physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. 

Person-Centred Approach: Alina helps clients achieve optimal health and wellbeing by making realistic, consistent and sustainable changes that work for their life situation, family, work commitments and personal preferences. She believes that the client is the captain of their life and provides the information and accountability they need to achieve the health goals that matter to them.
